The label was founded in 1986 by Domenico Dolce and Steffano Gabbana who met while working as assistants at an atelier in Milan. From its foundation, the brand was known for its eclectic, bold and outlandish style in womenswear, accessories, beachwear and fragrance. The label's highly collectable '90s collections drew on the glamour of old Hollywood, and were often a love letter to their home country of Italy. The D&G woman is seductive, glamorous and sexy.
