EMILIO PUCCI
Emilio Pucci, Marchese di Barsento, hailed from Florence, Italy. His eponymous company is synonymous with geometric prints in a rainbow of colours. Pucci first set up his haute couture fashion house on the island of Capri, focusing on swimwear, but soon moved onto other items such as boldly patterned silk scarves. In addition, he designed and produced wrinkle-free printed silk dresses, which are now much sought-after. Marilyn Monroe, Sophia Loren, Jackie Kennedy were all devoted fans of Pucci's masterful mix of luxurious couture and ready-to-wear.
