French designer Guy Laroche designed practical, haute couture garments throughout the 1950s up until his death in 1989. By the 2000s, his eponymous brand had taken a new, more modern direction under Damian Yee, who has worked with brands such as Karl Lagerfeld and Gucci, as well as with celebrities like Kylie Minogue and Lenny Kravitz.
